Network of i.Jooz smart vending machines planned for Hong Kong

Singaporean company Fruits Vending has opened an office in Hong Kong as it starts rolling out a network of smart vending machines.
The local subsidiary, IoT Technology Company, has entered the market with its i.Jooz smart vending machines, serving orange juice freshly squeezed directly in front of customers. The smart vending machines communicate online with the operations centre automatically to report when refilling is necessary. Only two machines have been deployed to market so far with more to follow pending recruitment of staff for the central office.

“There are many similarities between Hong Kong and Singapore”, said Hong Kong CEO Jason Wei.
“They are both international cities with high population density, high rent and high labour cost. People in both places have similar dietary habits and are becoming more concerned with their health. It is the best place to expand our freshly squeezed orange juice vending machines business following the success in Singapore.
“Hong Kong is close to the mainland and an important market in the Greater China region. Together with its robust economy and respected legal system, the city is the best window for us to showcase our products and services in the region,” he added.
Fruits Vending’s move to Hong Kong was achieved with support from InvestHK.
