Kate Spade pop up planned for Ion Orchard

A Kate Spade pop-up planned for Ion Orchard this month will mark a world first.

Open from March 11 to 24, the 12sqm space features Kate Spade’s ready-to-wear collection, as well as an assortment of bags, small leather goods, accessories and jewellery.

The Singapore Kate Spade pop up will also feature a limited-edition bag exclusive to Southeast Asia, which can be personalised in store on March 15 and 16. Customers can also customise their own luggage tags on the global microsite and collect them at the store.

Designed by Kate Spade New York’s creative director Nicola Glass, the pop-up is housed in spade silhouette, its entrance highlighting the label’s new sophisticated and eclectic brand colour palette. Inside, softly curved fixtures, pedestals and mannequin displays reinforce the modern femininity at the heart of the brand.

Meanwhile the materials, including transparent exterior walls, gently carpeted interior floors and balloon light fixtures.

“I am excited to see this concept come to life in Singapore. The Spade is such a special symbol for the brand and I love this execution of our iconic logo. It is a true representation of the new brand vision and I cannot wait for the Singapore customers to come experience the Spring collection in person,” said Nicola Glass, global creative director of Kate Spade New York.

“Following the successful opening of our Ion Orchard store last fall, we look forward to continuing the momentum and exciting our customers with this new, immersive pop-up experience,” said Anna Bakst, CEO and brand president.
