Fu Peng, one of the Gen Z panel speakers, graduated with a master degree in English literature from Sichuan International Studies University. He was the chief editor of an English motorcycle magazine for three years, before joining Italian motorcycle brand Ducati, out of passion. He oversaw Ducati’s marketing and PR in Mainland China for two years, and the management of Ducati’s dealer in Chongqing for another two years. He joined Jiangxiaobai in the middle of 2017 out of the same passion, and a mission to introduce Chinese baijiu and the unique culture to the global drinkers aboard. He is now the director of international department of Jiangxiaobai, which is one of the most popular Baijiu brands among China’s young generation. He and his team have taken Jiangxiaobai’s products to 16 countries and regions in less than half a year.
Li Hui, another panel speaker, is a partner at Yitiao, which began as a high-quality mini documentary and gained more than 20 million followers in a very short time. Later, Yitiao moved into e-commerce, aiming to build the largest online lifestyle-shopping platform in China. Yitiao’s monthly sales now exceed 100 million RMB, and the platform has more than 1 million registered users. After receiving several rounds of venture capital funding, Yitiao is now valued at US$500 million, and recognised as a pioneer of the content-creating industry in China. Li hui joined Yitiao in 2015 as a partner and editor-in-chief, overseeing the editorial and advertising departments.
