Estee Lauder lipstick-customisation service launched

Estee Lauder has become the first beauty brand in Hong Kong to launch a personalised lip service via a pop-up lip event, Lips to Envy.

Located at Lane Crawford on Canton Road from April 2–8, and Lane Crawford Times Square from April 29–May 12, the Estee Lauder lipstick-customisation service pop-up’s Custom Blend Lip Lounge gives customers the opportunity to custom blend their favorite shade of Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick to create a personalised shade.

In a 30-minute experience, available to pre-book online or in store, customers receive a fully customised makeup service from start to finish.

An Estee Lauder Beauty Advisor starts with a consultation using YouCam Virtual Try On to help determine the customer’s favourite Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick base shade in a creme or matte finish. Once the base shade is determined, the customer is able to choose from four customisation options – lighter, darker, warmer or cooler – allowing the Beauty Advisor to create the Custom Blend Lip recipe and sample the shade to ensure it’s the perfect match. As the lipstick is blended, melted, molded and chilled before her eyes, the customer can also enjoy a complimentary beauty service.

Once the lipstick is created and the lip look is complete, customers can add an extra personal touch to their lipsticks by engraving names or letters with special meanings on the base of the case. In addition to receiving the custom lipstick shade and engravable lipstick case, customers will also receive an exclusive Estee Lauder pouch complete with two refillable lipstick bullets.

The event, which in addition to Hong Kong has been activated in London and Toronto, will soon be travelling to New York and other cities worldwide.
