Taiwan’s Kiki Noodle Bar to open at IFC mall

Taiwan’s Kiki Noodle Bar, a chain known for its health-conscious take on spicy Sichuanese cuisine, is launching in Hong Kong later this month at IFC mall in Central.

In collaboration with local hospitality group Lai Sun Dining, the new outlet follows a debut in Taipei last year followed by the opening of a Shanghai branch last month.

Two exclusive Kiki noodle dishes have been created by Michelin three-starred Chef Albert Au Kwok Keung to celebrate the Hong Kong launch using the brand’s signature noodle products, which are already selling in the territory. Kiki has also had some success retailing its bubble tea in Hong Kong.

Kiki Noodle Bar touts an “Instagrammable” crowd-pleaser dish among its menu items – a stir-fried minced pork mixed noodle dish with chive flowers and fermented black beans. Kiki also sells its bubble tea recipes, such as its pineapple green teapresso, on site.

Kiki Noodle Bar seats 32 over about 700sqft on the podium level of IFC mall. The interior design is in a neutral and rustic colour to convey a sense of Zen courtyard minimalism as a restful haven in the heart of Central, with communal oak tables to encourage customer interaction.
