FairPrice Xtra at VivoCity marks chain’s largest store yet

FairPrice Xtra at VivoCity is the Singapore supermarket operator’s largest store yet.

The 9000sqm space spans two levels, and is designed with many speciality concepts and unique experiences to woo younger shoppers.

Eye-catching sectors include a pink ice cream truck and an in-store fresh vegetable farm.

Interactive counters aim to deliver a differentiated experience for shoppers, selling items such as raw coffee beans which can then be roasted and ground to shoppers’ personal preferences; freshly churned organic nut butter with salt or sugar upon request, and draught beer served using a technology that “fills cups from the bottom”.

The first FairPrice dine-in area allows shoppers to select their meat to be grilled in-store and create a complete meal with a selection from the salad bar. A butchery by Culina also offers a roasting service for takeaway with two-days’ notice.

FairPrice’s health and beauty brand Unity operates as a standalone store, stocked with a range of skin care brands, a health-food section, and with an in-store pharmacist.

FairPrice Xtra at VivoCity has been designed from the ground up as a one-stop shopping destination for the family, offering everything from groceries to apparel and electronics.

FairPrice Xtra at VivoCity is also home to a Pet Lovers Centre Express, where customers can buy pet food and accessories without leaving the supermarket premises.
