Hang Lung nears completion of Peak Galleria renovation

Hang Lung Properties’ Peak Galleria – a Hong Kong landmark – is nearing the completion of a comprehensive enhancement program and will soon be welcoming customers with a fresh new look and tenant mix.

The main entrance of the property has been redesigned with a giant gem-like glass facade, which opens into a mall that now hosts a new curation of local and international brands, many of which are making their Hong Kong debut with some expected to open this month.

In 2012, Hang Lung began a series of asset enhancement projects for its core properties in Hong Kong. This new renovation for Peak Galleria, however, comes just three years after the venue’s last revamp in 2016.

The latest remodelling of Peak Galleria has given it an all-glass curtain wall design that is both modernist and also serves to conduct natural light into the atrium.

With 60 new merchants and multiple brands as well as the new design, the Peak Galleria will provide customers with shopping, dining, and entertainment elements. The world’s first Monopoly-themed pavilion, Monopoly Dreams, is a central new attraction.

“Peak Galleria will be re-opened in phases beginning this month,” said Hang Lung Properties director leasing & management Bella Chhoa. The grand opening will follow in the fourth quarter.

“Ready to welcome customers, the revamped Peak Galleria is poised to lead the local shopping mall industry with insightful brand-new elements through the provision of diverse, personalised experiences, captivating design and world-class facilities, and Hang Lung-branded service excellence.”
