Franchise business-matching events set to resume after Covid-19

VF Franchise Consulting is resuming its international franchise business-matching events in Asia next month.

The first such event will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where the country’s coronavirus lockdown was significantly relaxed in late April.

“Vietnam, like many countries in Asia, has been in a lockdown mode for the past few months,” said VF Franchise CEO Sean Ngo. “While the country was spared a complete lockdown during most of this time, businesses of all types ground to a halt. As of April 23rd, the government has allowed for businesses to resume and the country continues to show significant progress in beating the Covid-19 curve. Shopping centres, schools, restaurants and cafes, and even domestic tourism and hospitality businesses are now open for business.”

The June 17 event will introduce opportunities for businesses pairing with multiple franchises, including Little Caesars Pizza, ACE Hardware International, Delifrance, Sureclean, Coca Hotpot, Mango Tree, Mango Chili Thai Cafe, and Cold Stone Creamery.

Upcoming franchise business-matching events are planned for around 10 other destinations in Asia, where markets are ready to get back on their feet as investors look long-term for new business and franchise opportunities, according to Ngo.
