Hong Kong’s Peak Galleria offers rooftop pet park to draw locals

Hong Kong shopping complex Peak Galleria has launched pet-friendly amenities and a rooftop lawn to draw pet-owner visitors.

Besides allowing pets in most areas, Peak Galleria has opened a new rooftop lawn for pets and owners to enjoy a picnic and a view of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island. For every purchase of more than HK$600 at Mina House and JinYaJu Noodle Bar, customers will receive a free picnic mat and a HK$100 worth cash coupon. Customers can also loan picnic baskets at no cost.

Designated dog-parking areas are set up where pets can rest while their owners go shopping.

The centre has also installed a pet salon-themed photoshoot station called Pawfect Barber Shop. Located on the first level, the station provides a collection of props and backdrops, offering an Instagrammable spot for people and their four-legged friends.

Peak Galleria will also set up an Insta-station with a giant pet bowl installation later this month.

Pet product companies will also convene PetMart at Peak Galleria every weekend until the end of the year. PetMart features pop-up stalls from multiple brands, including Private I Pets, Petcore vet and wellness and Pets 101.
