‘Out there’ fast-food outlet opened by KFC in Bangkok

KFC Thailand has unveiled a flagship concept store in the hip Bangkok neighborhood of Ekkamai.

The restaurant’s face features KFC’s bucket logo and an expansive roof design inspired by digital waves. The exterior colours and lighting use signature KFC red and white, designed to be optimised for both day and night.

Operated by local franchisee Restaurant Development, the new KFC Ekkamai store also marks the 100th outlet of the brand in Thailand. According to the company, it chose Ekkamai to land the flagship as the district is a popular hub for both locals and expats with a dynamic nightlife scene.

The restaurant interior features self-order kiosks and a digital menu board. To enhance customers’ experience during the ongoing pandemic, the restaurant also implemented several features for food delivery and 24/7 drive-thru ordering.
