Singapore-headquartered fashion retailer FJ Benjamin has opened a new concept store as part of its attempt to address consumers’ changing buying habits following the Covid-19 outbreak.

The store, dubbed Avenue on 3, occupies 8000sqft in the Paragon Shopping Centre, and is designed with blue and gold as its base colours.

“We had a lot of time during the Covid-19 lockdown to think of how we want to do things differently for our customers, how to make their shopping experience more exciting and experiential, and essentially, how we wanted to reimagine the business of F J Benjamin,” said Douglas Benjamin, Group CEO.

According to FJ Benjamin, Avenue on 3 is unlike any other upscale fashion store the company has opened in Singapore, as the luxury market in the city-state has been exceptionally durable, with recovery surpassing that of the larger market.

“The population of high net worth individuals in Singapore has increased significantly in recent years, and with rising wealth comes a corresponding increase in demand for luxury goods and services, which bodes well for Avenue on 3’s success in Singapore,” Benjamin added.

Earlier this year, FJ Benjamin reported a 26 per cent increase in revenue for the half-year ending December 31 from $36.2 million to $45.7 million as customer demand recovered in conjunction with the relaxation of Covid-19 limitations.
