Buttrmilk and Fatburger have closed their Singapore locations due to the closure of their operator, Deelish Brands.

Deelish Brands chief executive Moe Ibrahim, in response to questions from The Straits Times, stated that the firm will be wound down on “an orderly basis to benefit all stakeholders”.

The Buttrmilk, Fatburger, and 800 Degrees locations at Kinex Mall in Katong were reported to have closed without giving members of its restaurant loyalty program any prior warning by a frequent client of Deelish Brands’ eateries.

Deelish Brands operates more than 10 Buttrmilk, Fatburger, and 800 Degrees outlets in total in Singapore.

Founded in 2017, the firm had finished a S$2 million Pre-Series A fundraising round the previous year and was named one of Singapore’s Fastest Moving Companies by SME100.
