Nan Fung Group has completed the first phase of a soft opening for Airside, a 700,000sqft shopping mall in Kai Tak.

The 47-story mixed-use commercial building Airside covers a total of 1.9 million sqft and is located in the centre of Kowloon, with easy access to the Kai Tak MRT station. The complement includes a 32-story Grade A office building and a 700,000sqft multi-story commercial mall with a varied assortment of food, retail, and leisure businesses.

The new urban living idea “Wholeness” at Airside aspires to foster the connection between humans and nature through the junction of art, eco-consciousness, and a low-carbon lifestyle.

The complex includes the recently opened Gate33 Gallery, and according to Nan Fung, Airside is the first building in Hong Kong to receive seven of the recognised green and smart building certifications. There are 6000sqft of urban farming spaces within the mall.

The German luxury home appliance company Miele will open its first Miele Experience Centre Kai Tak at the Airside mall, joining the earlier announcement of the Japanese lifestyle brand Muji occupying more than 12,000sqft.

The place also has different brands including Nespresso, B’in Select, and White Market, in addition to MCL Airside, which spans more than 33,000 sqft and comprises seven cinema houses.
