Danish cycling equipment retailer Pas Normal Studios has opened its first flagship location in Singapore, boosting its Southeast Asian expansion strategy.

The store is the first independent one of its kind in Southeast Asia and the third to open in Asia after those in Taipei and Seoul. It is located in the Central Business District at Funan Mall.

In addition to cycling clothes, the Singapore flagship store also serves coffee, which is a special roast from Coffee Collective, the brand said.

According to CEO Peter Lange, Pas Normal Studios is establishing ambitious plans for worldwide expansion and growth, with more flagship stores opening worldwide in the future.

Prior to Singapore, Pas Normal Studios debuted in San Francisco and Munich, with the goal of connecting with local cycling groups through the provision of physical venues.

Pas Normal Studios also appears in other Asian regions, in partnership with local distributors including Velo Velo Malaysia, K Siam Bike (Thailand), Rapport Cycling (Japan) and Flex Trading (China).

Pas Normal Studios first had its pop-up in Thailand’s Bangkok in 2018 under a store-in-store concept with local coffee brand One Two Two Coffee Bar.
