Burberry’s series of immersive experiences Burberry Streets has landed in South Korea under the theme ‘Seongsu Rose’, showcasing the brand’s heritage in the heart of the vibrant Seongsu area.
Visitors can walk through the English rose-inspired Petal Maze, which displays creative director Daniel Lee’s first collection. The installation features handcrafted sculpted shapes such as petals, stems and leaves, illustrating the brand’s latest Winter 20233 Collection.
Meanwhile, two mini pop-ups – Seongsu Shoe and Seongsu Bottle – offer a curated experience of the latest footwear products and hot water bottles. The brand also opened a pop-up of Norman’s Cafe, serving an all-day selection of British classics throughout the takeover.
Seongsu Rose will open until November 5. Symbols of the house will be seen in multiple locations across the capital. The purple rose print will fly on flags and buildings on the streets of Seongsu.
Seongsu Rose comes after the Burberry Streets initiative in London and will be followed by Shanghai later this month.
British luxury fashion house Burberry reported an 18 per cent increase in comparable store sales for the first quarter of the year driven by “strong underlying growth” in EMEIA, South Asia Pacific, and Japan and the recovery in Mainland China.
