Japanese fashion giant Fast Retailing has launched its first Uniqlo Luxembourg store, ushering in the brand’s next phase of expansion across Benelux and becoming its sixth location in the region.

Located in the centre of Luxembourg City on Grand Rue 22, the location features a Re.Uniqlo Studio, that offers services for customers to recycle, repair, and reconstruct their favourite Uniqlo LifeWear items so they can be used longer.

Uniqlo has opened Re.Uniqlo Studios throughout the majority of European markets, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Denmark. Re.Uniqlo Studios can also be found in Uniqlo stores worldwide, including the US, Japan, and Singapore.

In addition, the Japanese retailer has partnered with Mudam – the Contemporary Art Museum of Luxembourg to create a reading area in the heart of the new store.

It also contains Loom Chairs, furniture objects designed by Julie Conrad with wooden frames and cloth seats. Each seat is made from recycled clothing donated by consumers as part of the Re.Uniqlo program.

Earlier this month, Uniqlo announced plans to launch its first store in Rome’s Galleria Alberto Sordi on Via del Corso, a key boulevard in the city’s historical heart, next spring.
