Dior has selected Mandopop legend Jay Chou as its latest global brand ambassador, joining Jimin, Jisoo, Robert Pattinson, and Haerin.

Chou, who was born and raised in Taiwan, is a songwriter, director, and actor. He is considered one of the most famous singers in Taiwan, as well as in China, Hong Kong, and even Vietnam when the pop music trend emerged in the 2000s. 

Chou will be the ambassador of men’s collections by Kim Jones.

According to Dior, Chou “embodies the spirit and singularity of Dior style”, and the appointment might see Dior expand its presence in Chinese-speaking nations, where luxury demand appears to be slowing.
