Apple will open its seventh store in South Korea tomorrow, marking the retailer’s 100th location in Asia-Pacific.

Located in Seoul’s Hongdae, the store offers a full lineup of products and services and has nearly 100 retail team members ready to assist customers.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring our customers in Korea something special at the start of the year with the opening of the all-new Apple Hongdae,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior VP of retail.

“Combining the latest in Apple technology with the creative passion of the local community, this new store will build on the extraordinary connection we have with our customers in Korea. Our team members are excited to welcome in customers and help them discover the latest in our products and services.”

Apple opened its first South Korean store, Apple Garosugil, in 2018. Since then, the brand has increased its footprint in the country, opening stores in Yeouido, Myeongdong, Jamsil, Gangnam, and Hanam.

Apple also established the Apple Developer Academy in Korea, which is already generating its second batch of graduates, as well as the Apple Manufacturing R&D Accelerator, which will provide free tools and training programs to small and medium-sized enterprises across the country.
