Asia’s largest retail show – 2024 Chinashop – will be held at the China National Exhibition & Convention Center, Shanghai, from March 13 to 15. 

It marks the 24th edition of the exhibition, which is organised by the China Chain-Store & Franchise Association (CCFA). This year’s exhibition covers an area of 100,000sqm, with more than 800 exhibitors and over 65,000 visitors expected.

Chinashop is the leading retail procurement and exchange platform in China’s retail industry. This year’s Chinashop will feature more than 100,000 exhibits of retail technologies, facilities and equipment, innovative solutions, trendy goods and retail brands in the form of nine themed sub-exhibitions. You can explore the most cutting-edge digital retail technologies, and experience the world’s most comprehensive range of smart retail facilities and equipment, as well as China’s distinctive merchandise.

Meanwhile, Chinashop also brings together China’s best retailers: you can hear and share their retail exploration and practices in China, the world’s largest consumer market.

The nine themed sub-exhibitions are retail AIoT and other AI technology, international intelligent and information technology, retail fresh food processing and commercial kitchen equipment, national retail commercial cold-chain, national upscale retail brands, store design and visual marketing, retail-oriented display props and commercial lighting, and China retail well-branded goods.

There will be four highlight stages: 

  • Hi-shop Future Retail Store with the theme of “Healthy Living”, showcases a new store format.
  • Dark Horse Zone X Retail X-Lab brings the most advanced concepts and technologies in the global retail industry, bringing more innovative inspiration to the industry. 
  • Chinashop Best Practice Cases on Golden Wings will showcase 92 excellent market-tested practice cases in the retail industry, demonstrating the changing trends and innovative solutions of the retail industry last year, as well as the application of new products and technologies. 
  • Trendy Goods Vogue offers a selection of new and high-quality goods that are trendy in China.

There will be 30+ workshops on site, which will be held on the themes of digital smart stores, operational cost reduction and efficiency, innovative store design, private label, category management, and new product launches.

CCFA New Consumption Forum series

This year’s Consumer Goods Channel Marketing Innovation Summit and Retail Discount Seminar will be held two days before the exhibition (March 11-12). The former focuses on the marketing innovation ideas brought about by the transformation of consumer goods channels and invites global consumer goods and retail channel enterprises with the theme of “Making Consumption Happen Better” to discuss the latest practice cases and innovation trends based on channels. More than 800 delegates are expected to attend. The latter focuses on the most popular retail discount stores in recent years and discusses the trend of future retail discount stores.

Previous Top 10 exhibitors: Retail digital solutions, payment and cashiering equipment, display equipment, commercial cold chain, commercial lighting, interactive marketing solutions, packaging consumables, weighing equipment, security solutions and retail catering equipment.
