Malaysia’s IPC Shopping Centre has expanded its tenant mix, spanning a diverse array of sectors to enhance the shopping experience.

The centre will welcome Mr DIY Plus in the first quarter, with the home improvement retailer expected to bring a four-in-one concept store featuring brands like Emtop, Mr DIY, Mr Dollar, and Mr Toy.

To reinforce its dining landscape, IPC will introduce more F&B options, with this year’s newcomers including Canton Boy, Mr Vegan, Pezzo Pizza, BabaBoy, BananaBro, Bread History & Sandwich Box, KPop Madang, Taste of Medan, and Noodle King House.

The mall also recently added grooming services for men at Jadioc Barbershop and dentist Ivory Dental.

Families with kids also have new options including Open Playhouse – a one-stop edutainment provider, lifestyle cafe, party and event planner – and Galaxy Kidz, which offers fun amenities for children of various ages.

Other new tenants include furniture brand Natural Signature and pre-loved bookshop Books for A Better World. The mall also converted the Level 1 Link Bridge to host Träffas Work Pods, Malaysia’s first private work pods, fully furnished for rent by the hour or day.

“Curating the right tenant mix is critical to successful shopping centre operations,” said Karyn Lim, GM of IPC Shopping Centre.

“That is why we strive to curate an experiential shopping atmosphere, leveraging a well-balanced mix of lifestyle, dining, and retail options to transform the centre into a quintessential destination transcending the conventional retail space.”
