Domino’s Pizza China (DPC Dash) has announced a profit alert for the year ended December 31, driven by improvements in both the top line and bottom line.

DPC Dash is the exclusive master franchisee of global pizza restaurant chain Domino’s Pizza’s in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.

The company is expecting total revenues to increase 48 per cent year-on-year to no less than RMB3 billion (US$417 million) for FY2023.

The firm said it will also swing to a non-IFRS adjusted net profit of no less than RMB8 million ($1.1 million), compared to an adjusted net loss of RMB113.8 million ($15.8 million) in FY22.

DPC Dash attributed the growth to the expansion of its store network, strong revenue growth in existing and new stores, and enhanced profit margins.

The total store count increased to 768 as of December 31 from 588 at the end of 2022. The company is targeting about 240 new stores in 2024.

The chain added it focused on tailoring its menu to offer handcrafted quality pizza at attractive prices, along with providing easy ordering access and efficient delivery, all of which contributed to strong sales in existing and new markets.
