Siam Piwat Group is celebrating another luxury retail milestone with the honour of operating the high-end Le Café Louis Vuitton in Bangkok.

As Thailand’s leading real estate and retail developer and the owner and operator of world-class destinations such as Siam Paragon, IconSiam and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, Siam Piwat Group was chosen by Louis Vuitton to operate and manage the Le Café.

The collaboration follows the opening of Blue by Alain Ducasse Bakery Boutique at IconSiam late last year, the first of its kind in Asia, offering patisseries and viennoiserie crafted by executive pastry chef Christophe Grilo and his team.

The moves confirm Siam Piwat’s leadership in the exclusive luxury dining space in Thailand – and its role as an innovator and leader in the broader luxury retail market, reinforcing its reputation as one of Asia’s best luxury destinations.

Last year, Siam Piwat Group posted record-high luxury sales. The turnover of all luxury brands hosted at the properties has grown exponentially over the past three to four years, with a cumulative growth rate of 300 per cent compared with pre-Covid levels. The success has been possible in part due to the expansion of luxury retail zones at both Siam Paragon and IconSiam shopping and entertainment destinations. In particular, the new Luxe Hall at Siam Paragon which opened last October, has led to numerous launches of new and exclusive flagship boutiques by leading luxury brands.

Siam Piwat has long been at the forefront of the luxury market and is trusted by premier brands. Sales of luxury products at Siam Paragon and IconSiam rank among the highest in Asia – and indeed globally – for some of the brands. As a result, Siam Piwat’s shopping centres account for the largest share of Thailand’s luxury retail market and remain the preferred choice for world-renowned luxury brands seeking to make their Thai debuts, expand their current footprint, or create global-standard flagships.

With 35 luxury boutiques opened across the two properties last year, Siam Piwat has been able to deliver extraordinary and unique luxury experiences for consumers before any other Thai property company. Furthermore, another 20 new luxury boutiques are scheduled to open this year.

Last year’s new openings included the Thai debut of Italian luxury fashion brand Loro Piana and the first menswear boutiques from Louis Vuitton and Fendi. Other new boutiques included luxury watch boutiques from Breitling, Chopard, Franck Muller, Gucci Watch, IWC, Jaeger Le Coultre, Panerai, Piaget, Rolex, Tag Heuer, Tudor, Vacheron Constantin, and Zenith. A majority of these boutiques were the brands’ first stores in Thailand and exclusive to Siam Paragon.

This year, IconSiam is preparing to double the space dedicated to luxury retail with stunning new duplexes and new-to-market brands.

Besides permanent stores, Siam Paragon and IconSiam last year delivered 24 unique luxury pop-ups and exhibitions, including Hermes in the Making at IconSiam’s Pinnacle space in November–December, showcasing 10 master craftsmen from the house’s metiers and drawing record attendance.

More than 23 luxury pop-ups and exhibitions are planned for this year to continue to bring unique and ever-changing experiences to the destinations’ visitors.

“With our unwavering commitment to creating a global luxury phenomenon meeting the lifestyle demands of the future, Siam Piwat will continue to collaborate with global luxury brands to curate products and services in innovative formats at both Siam Paragon and IconSiam,” said a Siam Piwat spokesperson.

“Our goal is to enhance the capability of Siam Paragon and IconSiam to deliver diverse experiences that resonate with luxury customers, and that will continue to generate traffic of more than 350,000 Thai and international visitors daily.

“The continuous success in Thailand’s luxury retail market will pave the way for Siam Piwat’s shopping centres to become the best luxury destinations in Asia.”
