Bossini International Holdings saw net loss improve in the first half, attributed to the company’s cost control measures and closures of loss-making stores in mainland China.
The apparel brand’s net loss stood at HK$52 million (US$6.7 million) while revenue dipped 11.2 per cent to HK$265.1 million amid economic slowdown.
Mainland China revenue plunged 34 per cent to HK$49 million while Hong Kong and Macau revenue declined 3 per cent to HK$188 million. Singapore revenue fell 7 per cent to $28 million.
Bossini International ended the period with 427 stores, down from 519.
The company said it is focusing on the rebranding of Bossini X in terms of brand positioning, product categories, pricing systems, and sales channels.
