China-based sportswear label Anta has opened a superstore in Tacloban – the first of its kind in the Philippines.
Located at Robinsons Place Tacloban shopping centre, the store offers affordable and versatile clothing, as well as exclusive casual basics, lifestyle apparel, and sportswear for both adults and kids.
“This development aims to be the apparel difference-maker that the city of Tacloban and beyond have been longing for,” said John Paul Paglinawan, Anta Philippines GM.
As the region pays more attention to its athlete communities, Paglinawan said the brand plans to organise activations and boost product accessibility through future collaborations with the local government.
The superstore is the first in the Philippines and the second in Southeast Asia. The brand has about 55 locations across the country.
Last year, Anta opened its first store in Thailand.
