Ukrainian bakery and cafe chain Lviv Croissants is to launch in Asia, opening its first store in South Korea.

Located in the I-Park The River complex of Seoul’s Gangdong District, the store spans 1200sqft and follows recent launches into the US and Europe.

“Panoramic windows, abundant natural light, comfortable furniture, and thoughtful design details create a stylish and welcoming space – this is Lviv Croissants in Seoul,” the company said in a statement.

Lviv Croissants was founded in 2015 and now operates more than 180 locations in Ukraine. It also has 11 stores in Poland, alongside locations in Slovakia, the US, the Czech Republic, and France.

The brand is also eyeing further international growth, with Australia, Germany, Spain, and Egypt listed as upcoming markets.
