Italian fashion retailer OVS will enter the Indian market next month with the launch of its first store at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, New Delhi.

The company, which reported €1.63 billion in sales for 2024 and operates over 2200 stores worldwide, stated that the opening is part of its broader international expansion.

“India is one of the most dynamic fashion markets in the world, driven by its young demographic and a growing appetite for global style,” said Sundeep Chugh, MD at OVS India. 

“With our launch in New Delhi, we are introducing OVS’s unique proposition: Italian design, quality and affordability to the Indian consumer.”

OVS said the New Delhi store will feature its latest retail concept and a range of products from everyday essentials to premium lines.

“I design my collections for everyone, my biggest goal is to inspire and encourage customers to let their imagination run free,” said creative director Massimo Piombo.

“Italian style and its infinite variety infuse all the OVS collections – art, travel, culture rooted in the beauty of my country. 

“India presents a tremendous opportunity, and I am thrilled to bring the OVS experience to this vibrant, style-conscious market.”

The company has more than 6 million customers globally and has described its entry into India as a “milestone” in its growth strategy of bringing its ‘Love People, Not Labels’ philosophy to international markets.
