Apple has reopened its Ginza store with a complete redesign, more than 20 years after the company first established its retail presence in Japan.
The four-storey space features a modern layout that incorporates regionally sourced materials, warm wood interiors, and a double-skin glass facade with adaptive louvres to regulate light and temperature. Balcony-like areas and an open design allow natural light to flow throughout the building.
Customers can access the full range of products, including the iPhone 17 series, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Series 11, and AirPods Pro 3, as well as accessories such as the iPhone Air Case with MagSafe and the new Crossbody Strap.
CEO Tim Cook reflected on the reopening, calling it a symbol of the company’s long-standing ties with customers in Japan.
“We couldn’t be more excited to open the doors to this beautifully redesigned space, share our latest products, and build on the incredible history we share,” he concluded.
