Chinese tea chain Chagee has opened its largest flagship worldwide on Lee Tung Street in Wan Chai, its seventh location in Hong Kong.
The store spans more than 11,000sqft across two levels. Its double-storey format combines retail, cultural elements, and social spaces, positioning the store as both a commercial and cultural hub.
Known for its use of real tea leaves, fresh milk, and no artificial sweeteners, Chagee differentiates itself through a luxury-leaning, minimalist brand identity. Its menu includes modern takes on classic teas, such as Oolong with cream toppings.
Rex Ho, GM for Hong Kong and Macau, expressed confidence in the brand’s growth potential in Hong Kong.
“We are optimistic, and we believe that as a platform for international cultural exchange, Hong Kong can help Chagee better share tea culture with consumers from around the world,” said Ho.
“Therefore, we decided to establish our world’s largest flagship store here and will continue to invest resources to promote the inheritance and innovation of tea culture.”
Chagee entered the city last year and has since expanded to seven stores. It plans to add at least 10 more outlets in the city as it accelerates its local expansion.
Globally, Chagee operates more than 7000 stores across China, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, the US, and other markets.
