South Korean quick-service burger and chicken chain Lotteria has entered the Singapore market, opening its first outlet at Jewel Changi Airport.
The opening follows the August signing of franchise and development agreements between parent company Lotte GRS and Singapore-listed F&B operator Katrina Group, which will oversee the brand’s operations locally.
The move forms part of Lotteria’s wider Southeast Asia growth strategy as it scales its presence beyond South Korea.
Established in 1979, Lotteria operates more than 1600 stores across several international markets, positioning it as one of South Korea’s largest homegrown QSR players.
Katrina Group first announced the partnership in 2024, with plans to roll out multiple outlets islandwide. The initial store was slated to open in the second quarter of last year.
In Singapore, the brand offers its signature menu items, including the Bulgogi Burger and Shrimp Burger, complemented by seasonal specials and locally tailored products to consumer preferences.
Last year, Lotteria partnered with Serai Group to enter Malaysia and opened its first location in the US.
