K11 Musea has delivered its strongest festive Golden Week performance since opening, driven by a rebound in inbound tourism and resilient luxury spending.

The harbourfront mall recorded a 10 per cent year-on-year increase in footfall from February 16 to 22, reaching a new high for the period.

Tourist spending surged 60 per cent compared with the same week last year, with the largest single transaction topping HK$2 million (US$255,911), highlighting sustained appetite in the premium segment.

Member sales climbed 54 per cent year on year. Watches and jewellery were standout performers, jumping 140 per cent, while international luxury brands saw sales rise 40 per cent.

To boost traffic and spending, K11 Musea rolled out a series of festive initiatives, including a traditional lion dance and its ‘Voyage of Flavours’ dining e-voucher programme. A rewards partnership with Alipay also helped drive visitor purchases.

The holiday momentum extended to food and beverage tenants. Harbour-view venues such as Deng G, Greyhound Cafe Galleria and newly opened Japanese eel specialist Unagi Yondaime Kikukawa reported near-full bookings during peak dining hours.

New World Development said it expects K11 Musea to sustain solid footfall and sales performance into the upcoming Chinese Mainland’s Labour Day Golden Week.
