French fashion label Marithé + François Girbaud has opened its first flagship store in Malaysia at Suria KLCC, continuing its rapid expansion across Asia.

Located on Level 1 of the Kuala Lumpur shopping centre, the flagship showcases the brand’s latest retail concept, centred on logo-led casualwear and its new-season campaign fronted by global ambassador Go Youn-jung.

The store’s offering is anchored by two signature products, the brand’s logo T-shirt and logo cap, alongside a broader range of relaxed denim, oversized shirts, utility-inspired outerwear and everyday separates. Accessories, including bags and footwear, also feature as part of the retailer’s lifestyle proposition.

Founded in France in 1972, Marithé + François Girbaud is known for pioneering innovations in denim and casualwear, including fabric treatments and experimental silhouettes.

The opening follows a string of Southeast Asian launches through the brand’s partnership with Thailand-based Jaspal Group, which is leading Marithé + François Girbaud’s regional expansion.

Earlier this year, the French label entered Vietnam with its first store at Ho Chi Minh City’s Takashimaya department store before debuting in Cambodia with a store in Phnom Penh.

Last year, it also launched its first store in Greater China, underscoring its strategy to strengthen its retail footprint across key Asian markets.
