Sandro has made its debut in the Philippines, opening a store in Greenbelt 5, Manila, as part of its expansion in Southeast Asia.
Established in 1984 by Evelyn Chetrite, the French fashion label is known for its designs that combine classic with trend-forward aesthetics.
“Opening of our very first boutique in the Philippines is a truly special moment,” shared the founder.
“Manila is well known for its unique mix of contrasts and cultural references. Sandro is all about contrast and a mix of influence, so Manila feels an obvious place for us.”
Sandro’s Greenbelt 5 boutique is designed to reflect the brand’s minimalism and will offer ready-to-wear pieces, accessories, and footwear.
Anthony Huang, CEO and president of SSI Group, the Philippine operator for Sandro, says the company believes the launch will bring a “slice of Parisian elegance” to Filipino consumers.
“We believe Sandro will resonate deeply with Manila’s sophisticated and fashion-conscious community,” he added.
Since its launch, Sandro now has more than 750 points of sale globally.
