Nordic-inspired lifestyle brand OCE has opened its first store in Thailand as part of a continuing international expansion.

The Guangzhou-founded business entered the Central Chaengwattana shopping centre in Bangkok this month, advertising its “Nordic laid-back aesthetics”. Inside, shoppers can access a range of more than 2000 unique products.

Kenneth Tng, head of international leasing at the shopping centre’s parent business, Central Pattana, said the opening “reflects the growing strength and attractiveness of the Thai retail market”.

“It is an honour for Central Pattana to be the partner of choice for this important milestone in the brand’s global expansion journey,” he added. “This latest concept was revealed on June 19 at Central Changwattana.

“Central Pattana remains committed to bringing fresh, innovative, and globally relevant retail experiences to our customers while supporting international brands as they enter and grow in Thailand.”

OCE already operates more than 50 stores in Mainland China, with a focus on major cities. In 2020, it opened its European flagship store in Copenhagen, Denmark, and entered Malaysia with an opening in Kuala Lumpur last year.
