US luxury womenswear brand Brochu Walker has opened its first international flagship store in Seoul, marking the company’s entry into Asia.

The five-storey store, branded as a ‘Maison’, is located in Seoul’s Gangnam district and spans about 664sqm across two retail floors, with additional space dedicated to private client appointments.

The opening follows the appointment of South Korean actress Cha Joo Young as the brand’s first Korean ambassador earlier this year, reflecting the growing importance of the market to the Los Angeles-based label.

Designed in collaboration with Seoul-based Blurker Design Studio, the flagship combines contemporary interiors with references to traditional Korean craftsmanship. Materials including oak, marble, Hanji paper and bronze feature throughout the space, alongside commissioned works by local artists.

“Maison Seoul represents years of dreaming, designing, and thoughtful collaboration,” said Karine Dubner, CEO and chief creative officer of Brochu Walker.

“Walking through the finished space fills me with an incredible sense of pride. It captures everything we believe Brochu Walker should be. Quiet, beautiful, intentional, and deeply personal. To see it embraced so warmly by the Korean community has been truly humbling, and I am profoundly grateful for the welcome we’ve received.”

Founded in Los Angeles, Brochu Walker is known for its premium knitwear and understated ready-to-wear collections positioned within the ‘quiet luxury’ segment. The brand has steadily expanded its brick-and-mortar footprint in the US, with boutiques in California, Connecticut, Georgia and New York, and plans to open additional stores in Nashville and Austin.
