Jollibee Group-owned Tim Ho Wan is planning to double its Taiwan store network by 2030, expanding from 16 to 32 locations over the next four years.

The expansion will be led by the brand’s Taiwan franchise partner, Hoyii Life, as Jollibee Group continues to pursue international growth through franchising.

Taiwan is one of Tim Ho Wan’s longest-established overseas markets, with the brand having operated there since 2015. The expansion will include the launch of a new store format designed to cater to consumers seeking faster, more convenient dining experiences.

“Our four-year growth plan builds on the strength of the brand, the capabilities of our Taiwan franchisee, and the market’s long-term potential,” said Lee Yeong Sheng, CEO of Tim Ho Wan.

“The new concept store format we plan to pilot in Taiwan is designed to reach increasingly mobile consumers and generate learnings that can support Tim Ho Wan’s growth in other markets.”

Jollibee Foods Corporation assumed full ownership of Tim Ho Wan in November 2024 after acquiring the remaining 8 per cent stake in Titan Dining LP for SG$20.2 million (US$15.1 million), bringing the Hong Kong-born dim sum brand directly under its portfolio.

Founded in Hong Kong in 2009, Tim Ho Wan currently operates more than 80 restaurants across multiple international markets.
