Misto Group has partnered with Korean streetwear brand Mucent to launch the label’s first store in Taiwan.
Mucent is a contemporary casualwear label recognised for its monochromatic aesthetic, with black as a signature colour. Its collections blend streetwear influences with everyday wear and have built a following among younger consumers, particularly women.
Following the Taipei launch, Misto plans to open Mucent stores in Taichung and Kaohsiung by the end of the year. The company will also expand the brand’s distribution through its official online store and local e-commerce platforms, including Shopee.
“The opening of Mucent’s first store in Taiwan provides an opportunity to introduce the brand’s style and identity directly to local consumers,” said a spokesperson for Misto Group.
The expansion is part of Misto’s broader strategy to strengthen its retail network and support the international growth of Korean fashion brands. The company recently introduced Korean designer label JuunJ to Taiwan, drawing on its local market knowledge and distribution capabilities.
Last month, Misto also began the full-scale rollout of JuunJ across China under its strategic partnership with Samsung C&T Fashion Division.
