Singaporean home furnishings retailer, Castlery, is set to launch its largest flagship store in the city state this year, and is hiring more staff for its global expansion.

Scheduled to open in the third quarter of this year, the flagship store will span two storeys and 24,000sqft inside Liat Towers, home to international brands including Hermes and Audemars Piguet.

“Looking back at when we were just a four-man team hunkering down in our 900sqft basement office in Ubi, we would never have imagined Castlery to one day be among the global brands that line Orchard Road with a store twice the size of our current showroom,” said Declan Ee, co-founder of Castlery.

“Even as we continue to plant more Castlery flags on the globe, the flagship store serves to anchor our presence in Singapore and reflects our unwavering commitment to staying true to our roots.”

Castlery said it aims to hire 100 more staff by next year to gear up its global expansion plan, after a six-fold revenue growth during the pandemic driven by its performance in the US.

Founded in 2013, the furniture retailer has a presence across Singapore, Australia and the US.
