More McDonald’s restaurants are in the pipeline for Thailand under a plan by national franchise-holder McThai aimed at almost doubling sales by 2020.
McDonalds will open a new restaurant in Thailand at least every fortnight in 2015, according to local operator McThai Co. The company will increase its budget for capital works by 25 per cent to 900 million baht (US$27.6 million) according to a report in the Bangkok Post newspaper.
