Taiwan’s Pacific Department Store is to open two new stores in Taiwan and mainland China.

It says it is opening in Beijing and in Northern Taiwan, adding to its existing ones in Xidan, China, Fengyuan City and Pingtung in Taiwan.

Pacific Department Store says it has been on an expansion hiatus for some years due to its management dispute with rival Far Eastern Group.

However, it says it is now well-braced to pursue expansion both domestically and abroad.
