Heinemann Asia Pacific has reopened its Sweet Dreams by Heinemann confectionery stores at Hong Kong International Airport, marking the first time that all of Heinemann’s locations in the region have been open for business since March 2020.

Sweet Dreams, Heinemann’s confectionary concept that debuted in July 2018, aims to delight and inspire visitors of all ages with “interactive displays and playful, eye-catching colours”. Sweet Dreams features a combination of international and local brands, including Hokkaido chocolate brand Royce and a large TWG selection.

“We are also happy to extend our partnership with Hong Kong International Airport, reaffirming our commitment to this key regional market, and we look forward to being part of the airport’s vibrant retail offer,” said Heinemann Asia Pacific COO Johannes Sammann.

“On a personal note, we are also thrilled to welcome back so many Heinemann team members to our business, with nearly our entire team made up of former colleagues.”

In March, Hong Kong International Airport welcomed some 2.8 million travellers, more than 28 times the figure reported during the same period last year. In addition, the airport saw 20,130 flight movements, more than double the previous year.
