Roberto Cavalli in India

Italian fashion brand Roberto Cavalli will step up its Indian presence through a partnership with local company Infinite Luxury set up by fashion designer Manav Gangwani.

ET has reported that Infinite Luxury will open a 3500 sqft Cafe Cavalli in May on the ground floor of luxury mall DLF Emporio which also houses other luxury brands such as Armani, Claire and DKNY.

To be offered at Cafe Cavalli are mens and womens fashion wear, accessories including watches, jewellery, handbags, small leather goods, sunglasses and shoes, children’s collections and gift items. 

Boutiques in Mumbai and other parts of the country are also planned in the next coming years.

Roberto Cavalli, popular for its exotic animal prints and bold patterns, is no stranger to India as its label Just Cavalli has been on sale in the country for several years.

The designer is aiming for its share of an Indian luxury market at present worth US$5.8 billion and expected to rise to US$14.7 billion by 2015.
