Luk Fook expands

Hong Kong-based jewellery retailer Luk Fook aims to further increase market and brand penetration in the country with some 30 shops to open before the Labour Day Golden Week in May.

Locations for expansion include Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Shanxi. With 30 new shops to be added next month, Luk Fook’s network in China will count 830 shops covering 30 provinces and 870 globally.

Luk Fook has just opened five new shops in Hong Kong and Macau this month, all situated in hot shopping destinations so as to take the advantages of the high pedestrian flow and excellent accessibility. Currently, there are eight Luk Fook retail outlets in Macau.

Three new shops will be opened in Hong Kong including the first outlet in Quarry Bay district, the eighth outlet in Mongkok and the second outlet in Sheungshui.

Luk Fook CEO Wong Wai Sheung believes the prime locations will not only expand the retail network of Luk Fook but boost retail revenue to the group.

“The group will continue to seek suitable locations for further expansion and will also offer high quality products and services to our customers, so as to enhance Luk Fook’s brand recognition,” Sheung said.
