Promart to expand footprint

Indian discount retail chain Promart plans to further expand its footprint in India.

Promart has partnered with franchise solution company Franchise India to open 25 franchisees every quarter and expects a growth of 15-20 per cent year-on-year.

Franchise India will help Promart with strategising, recruiting franchisees and raising brand visibility.

Promart, a value format concept in lifestyle retailing, has 53 stores. The brand offers discounts from 25-60 per cent to consumers all year round. It retail brands like Arrow, Puma, Pepe, Wrangler and many more.

“We believe that the tie-up with Franchise India is going to further help establish the presence of the brand in the Indian market,” said Promart CEO Punit Agarwal.
