Indian retail giant Reliance Retail has opened a new concept store aimed at gadget lovers.

The store, Reliance Digital Express, has debuted in Mumbai. It offers gadgets and appliances such as smartphones, music players, HD speakers, ultra books and more.

The store is staffed with well-trained team who can help teach customers how to operate the products.

“The idea behind Digital Express is to create awareness about the latest technological advancements taking place across the world today and bringing them together under one roof,” it says.

Reliance says the digital sector will be one of the biggest growth categories in coming years.

“Reliance Digital stores and Digital Express stores would be rolled out in Tier-I and Tier-II cities and would bring the connected world experience to consumers.”

Reliance Retail, the retail arm of Reliance Industries, is planning further expansion across the country in the coming years. Its chains include Reliance Fresh, Reliance Trends, Reliance Time Out and Reliance Jewels.
