India gets Lego store

Funskool India, a joint venture between MRF and Hasbro Incorporated, has opened India’s first Lego store.

Located at Phoenix Market City, Chennai, the store spanning 1300 sqft offers an extensive range of Lego toys and blocks.

“Funskool has been at the forefront of enthralling children with a wide range of toys, games and puzzles,” said Funskool chairman Arun Mammen.

“We seek to offer a more experiential touch point where children get to explore the vast range of construction toys and exciting games,” adds Mammen.

Funskool eyes Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore as Lego markets in India.

Lego is a Danish construction toys consist of interlocking plastic bricks and an accompanying array of gears, mini figures and various other parts.
