Italian luxury brand Gucci has expanded its footprint in India, opening its sixth store there, in Kolkata.

The store inside the Quest Mall is the company’s first in the city, hosting its range of products including handbags, shoes, luggage, silks, watches, jewellery, fragrances, sunglasses, and children’s collection.

The company-operated store continues its strategy to increase its control of the brand to enhance the consistency of the consumer’s experience.

Gucci is part of Kering Group, whose portfolio also includes Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Stella McCartney, Puma, among others.
