Lacoste India expands

French apparel brand Lacoste plans to add 10 new stores in India’s second-tier cities as it aims to double its turnover in the next four years. The new rollouts will increase its store count to 55 by the end of the year. “This year new additions would come at places such as Jaipur, Pune and Chandigarh,” said Lacoste India director and CEO Rajesh Jain. Cities like Amritsar, Jalandhar, Cochin, Ahmadabad, Indore and Lucknow are also on its expansion map over the next two years. The brand, selling clothing, footwear, leather goods, watches, eyewear and perfume with green crocodile logo, also plans expanding into Sri Lanka.
