Piazza Italia hits Indonesia

Italian fashion retailer Piazza Italia has expanded into Asia opening its first store in Indonesia. The store, operated in partnership with Mitra Retailindo Citratama, is located inside Summarecon Mal Bekasi. Piazza Italia, according to its representative Mario Rendola, plans to open 15 to 20 stores across Indonesia over the next three years. The second store will be at Surabaya’s Grand City Mall and is scheduled to open on June 26. Headquartered in Nola, near Naples, Piazza Italia supports 110 own and operated stores, 35 franchise stores outside of Italy and realises net revenue of more than 240 million euros per year.
