Furla opens new Asian airport stores

Italian retailer Furla is continuing to ramp up its presence in travel retail across Asia.

Its newest Asian airport openings include new stores at KLIA 2 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India.

The KLIA store spans 60sqm and is operated with Eraman Malaysia while the Mumbai one measures 20 sqm, run with Nuance India.

“We have a huge amount of activity taking place in Asia this year with new locations opening across the region, including Cambodia, Japan, Hainan, China, and Thailand,” said Furla global travel retail director Gerry Munday.

Furla has also partnered with Hong Kong’s Fung Group earlier this year to open more than 100 stores in China.
