Les Hommes to enter Japan

Belgian designer brands Les Hommes and Les Hommes Urban are to expand into Japan.

Les Hommes offers high-end fashion for men while Les Hommes Urban caters to young contemporary men.

The brands have partnered with Sept Huit Corporation, subsidiary of Itochu Corporation, to commence business in Japan in spring-summer 2015.

The partners plan to offer products through department stores, boutique stores and specialty stores, with the aim of achieving retail sales of 800 million yen ($7.7 million) in three years time.

Founded in 2004 by the duo Tom Notte and Bart Vandebosch in Antwerp, Les Hommes is currently sold in 150 boutique stores and department stores worldwide, including the flagship stores in Antwerp and Milan. It is expected to open a flagship in Shanghai in 2015.
